Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Requiems API, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.

2. API Access and Usage

2.1 API Keys

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys. Do not share your API keys publicly or embed them in client-side code. You are responsible for all activity that occurs using your API keys.

2.2 Rate Limits

Your API usage is subject to rate limits based on your subscription plan. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary suspension of API access or additional charges.

2.3 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the API for:

  • Illegal activities or to violate any laws
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Transmitting malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Harassment, spam, or abusive behavior
  • Reselling or redistributing API access without permission
  • Reverse engineering or attempting to extract source code

3. Billing and Payments

3.1 Subscription Plans

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in these terms.

3.2 Free Trials

Monthly paid plans include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel anytime during the trial period.

3.3 Overages

If you exceed your plan's monthly request quota, API requests will be blocked with a 429 error. Upgrade your plan to restore access.

4. Service Level and Uptime

We target 99.99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for:

  • Scheduled maintenance windows
  • Force majeure events
  • Third-party service failures
  • Issues caused by your misuse of the API

5. Data and Privacy

We do not log the content of API requests or responses. Usage metadata (timestamps, endpoints, status codes) is retained for billing and analytics. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Intellectual Property

The API, documentation, and all related materials are owned by Bobadilla Tech and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without permission.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the API at any time for:

  • Violation of these terms
  • Non-payment of fees
  • Fraudulent or illegal activity
  • At our discretion with 30 days notice

You may cancel your account at any time from your dashboard settings.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BOBADILLA TECH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of the API after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in EU courts.
